Description

A documentary that closely follows ultramarathon racers who traverse the world’s unexplored regions.

The film explores the strength of humans by getting up close to the athletes, both physically and mentally, as they continue to run beyond the limits of the human body.
The runners endure for 100 km, 200 km through breathtaking natural scenery, including Mont Blanc, Reunion Island, Amazon’s jungles, and the Namib Desert. They persevere even as their minds and bodies break down and even as extreme fatigue causes hallucinations. Why do they persist under such conditions? This program gives courage to viewers by following the runners whose lives were changed by running.
